Be-Free participated in Al-Sharjah third reading festival, that was conducted between 14th - 21st February 2010, with mini-workshops on essential protection skills. The workshops were conducted in Arabic and English according to the language of the participating children. Be-Free has also distributed to children a booklet that summarizes the essential protection skills in a simple way.
Be-Free Corner attracted many children, who were interested in attending the workshops and enjoying its activities. The children who attended the workshops have also invited their friends and siblings to attend the workshops. One interesting incident is when a child enjoyed the workshop and then he called his younger sister, and insisted that she joins the workshop. Since she was very young and does not speak Arabic nor English, he helped in teaching her the skills.
