Excerpts from "I control my anger" workshop...

During the series of workshops titled "I express myself" that was conducted in May, children learned how to express themselves and their feelings. One of the workshops was "I control my anger", in which children learned how to express their anger in a better way, and to control it.

The workshop that followed, children shared their experiences in controlling their anger, and we'd like to share it with you:

One child said: I got really mad at my sister, then I remembered something very simple I learned at the workshop, which is to change my place. I did and it really helped me.

Another child said: I faced a situation and I became angry, so I took a deep breath, as I learned from the previous workshop, and I felt better. I was surprised that I was not angry anymore.

These are simple ways to handle anger, and the best of all is when they learn from us how to handle anger.
