Manager of Be-Free Rana Alsairafi has recently received her PhD in "Father-Adolescent Relationship and its effect on adolescents subject to different types of abuse - in the Kingdom of Bahrain". This study has helped in understanding the perspectives of adolescents for their relationship with their father, and the aspects that affect this relationship. The study was conducted on teens males and females, aged (12-17) years old.
Conducting studies and researches in the field of protection of children and adolescents from abuse is one of the main goals of Be-Free, therefore it encourages its members to carry out such studies. These studies show aspects that affect the vulnerability of children and adolescents to abuse which adds more insights to the field of Child Protection, and specially in this region. It also helps Be-Free to develop programs and projects on the results of these studies. Currently a member of Be-Free is doing her Masters in "The effectiveness of a preventive training program for children with mild intellectual disability to protect them from sexual abuse in the Kingdom of Bahrain".
