Be-Free has completed the first intensive course with Bahrain Polytechnic students, that was titled "The bridge to ourselves". This course was part of a club that was established between Be-Free Center and Bahrain Polytechnic, that aims at helping students to understand and communicate with themselves, discover their capabilities
, develop their character, control their lives, and help their peers too.
It is worth mentioning that Be-Free Center and Bahrain Polytechnic signed a memorandum of understanding to:
•Raise awareness among students about understanding their emotions and how to deal with them
•Increase awareness and understanding of the effects of child abuse and ways to deal with it in the Bahrain Polytechnic student and staff population
•Provide a pathway for students who would like more support in dealing with their own childhood abuse issues
•Develop skills amongst students to support peers
•Create a trained peer-to-peer support culture amongst students
•Develop the concept of NGO's working with government organisations
