Be-Free Program launched “Instilling Universal Knowledge” Project, which is a pioneer project that helps educational institutes with its various levels in adopting innovative and renewable methods, that make the educational institute a place that students long for. The launching ceremony presented the project, its importance on the learning cycle and its future impact, along with its deliverables. Many officials and specialists from ministries and institutes, such as ministry of Education, Governorates, and local newspapers attended the ceremony.
The project adopts the vision “Towards schools that build a successful, responsible, influential, thoughtful, and generous Human”. The project targets the educational institutes, public and private schools at all its levels, including the final year in kindergarten.
It focuses on linking the educational subjects with the students’ personal and social development which enables the student to have a deeper understanding for the scientific subject, memorize them, and interact with it. Moreover, it makes the educational subjects more fun and interesting, while learning the important concepts and skills such as self-motivation, responsibility, learning from differences, personality building, respecting others, humane interaction, and the different types of protections including protection from internet dangers, and other concepts that endure academic and social success and personality building. This process, reflects positively on the schools in different areas and helps them in achieving their goals and become distinguished among other schools.
“Instilling Universal Knowledge” Project is easy to implement by educational institutes as it does not cost or require any additional effort or change in school strategy; it rather focuses on qualitative additions that transcend with the educational process as a whole. The project is based on four main pillars; Emotional Balance, Humane Sensibility, Humanistic Values, leadership and interaction with Universal Environment.
The project has 9 main deliverables, that the educational institutes can benefit from by downloading it and implementing it directly. One of the deliverables is a document about the concepts and fundamentals of the project document, which includes details about the four pillars and how it affects the learning process. The second document is the academic and life linking document, which explains how to link the different educational subjects with day-to-day life of the students, and the four pillars of the project. The project includes three training manuals, each for a specific age group, and has detailed workshops that the teacher can conduct for the students. A special training manual is developed for the students with visual impairment, hearing impairment, motor disability, and/or mild mental disability. The deliverables include a guide for celebrating some of the international days in creative ways that motivate students to transcend through it, a guide for measuring project impact, and a booklet for students’ parents.
