Be-Free Program started a new series of workshops for parents, that has received a large turnout. These workshops have been conducted for parents of children and teens with disability as well. This series focuses on two key elements that underlie the empowerment of parents and helping them in building the Humane and responsible personality of their children in an interactive and experience sharing environment. The first element is the importance of the Human existence, that helps children and teens in raising their self-esteem, increasing their self-worth, taking responsibility, choosing success, building self-motivation, etc.
The second element is leadership and influencing the universal environment that contributes in building a culture of respecting others, learning from differences, sharing, having the sense of ability to create change for the better, taking steps to achieve it, and positive interaction with family, society, environment and others. These workshops comes in conjunction with the launch of “Instilling Universal Knowledge” project which established these concepts for children and teens through implementing it in schools and educational institutes.
The parents’ series of workshops include titles such as: “Roles Of Children In The Family And Its Effects On Building Their Identities”, “The Spirit Of Fatherhood And Motherhood”, “The Importance Of Human Existence”, “The Role Of Parents Perspective Of Their Children In Building Their Personalities”, “Unconditional Love”, “Messages Of The Feelings”, “Parents And Children… Between Dialogue, Understanding, And Responsibility”, “Parents’ Role In Protecting Their Children From Abuse”, “Dealing With Success And Failure In Family”, “Adopting Systematic Thinking As A Pillar With Children And Family”.
During the past eleven years “Be-Free” has trained more than 8150 parents, in different places, such as schools, educational institutes, inside and outside the Kingdom of Bahrain.
