Prevention and Protection Skills from Abuse for HSBC Staffs’ Children and Students of Ibn Khuldoon National School

Be-Free Program conducted a group of workshops titled “I’m Strong, Smart, and Safe Child” about the prevention and protection skills from abuse, for HSBC staff’s children and grade one students of Ibn Khuldoon National School. Some of the workshops were in Arabic and some in English, and covered 137 child.

The fun and interactive workshops included concepts that contribute in building the personality of the child, and his critical thinking ability, and in encouraging him to communicate with his parents. The story “Naser’s Courage” was distributed to children, which focuses on helping the children to understand their rights in protection, trusting their feelings, and how to activate it, and the booklet “I’m Strong, Smart, and Safe Child” the contains the protection concepts and skills in an easy to understand language, along with a paper crown that carries the slogan “I’m Strong, Smart, and Safe Child”. These workshops come as part of Be-Free continuous cooperation with public and private schools, and other governmental and social bodies, such as social centers, and clubs to conduct workshops for parents, children, teens, and specialists in different areas.
