“Be Free” of The Bahrain Women Association for Human Development launched its summer program to address more than 10 important concepts for children in simple, fun and interactive ways. One of these concepts is the concept of choosing what helps us grow and develop instead of opting for things that seem to be fun and easy. Be-Free used “I always choose what improves me” as a motto for children. This concept is one of the most important and essential concepts in life that shapes us as human beings and helps us make better decisions when faced with different options to choose from. When trained on this concept at an early age in life, the child strengthen his/her ability to recognize a good opportunity and invest time and effort in it.
The summer program also included a range of fun and purposeful activities, such as cooking, origami, and other activities.
Moreover, Be-Free hosted the Nutrition coach and Healthy Living, Ms. Amira Al-Mukherq, who did a workshop introducing children to healthy eating habits, the importance of meals, and how to choose between home-made food and fast-food.
The summer program concluded with a fun and interactive set of games that includes the most important concepts covered in the summer program, and their impact on their daily lives.
