435 child and parent trained in the First Quarter of 2019

The first quarter of 2019 has witnessed a special turnout by private and government schools and kindergartens to the workshops presented by Be Free program, part of Bahrain Women’s Association - for Human Development, that reached 435 as total of trained children, teenagers and parents.

More than 10 Important Concepts in Be-Free Summer Program

“Be Free” of The Bahrain Women Association for Human Development launched its summer program to address more than 10 important concepts for children in simple, fun and interactive ways. One of these concepts is the concept of choosing what helps us grow and develop instead of opting for things that seem to be fun and easy. Be-Free used “I always choose what improves me” as a motto for children. This concept is one of the most important and essential concepts in life that shapes us as human beings and helps us make better decisions when faced with different options to choose from. When trained on this concept at an early age in life, the child strengthen his/her ability to recognize a good opportunity and invest time and effort in it.

“The Parents Role in Activating Human Existence in Children with Disabilities”

July-August 2019

Be Free Program, part of Bahrain Women Association – For Human Development, conducted a training workshop for mothers of children with disabilities about the concept of “Human Existence” and its importance in the life of every person, and its major impact in the lives of children with disabilities. This workshop comes as part of a series of training workshops the program is conducting to the parents of children with disabilities that are aiming to support and assist in protecting them from all types of abuse.
