Art and its Impact on Children - A New Perspective

Bahrain Women Association – for Human Development organized an interactive workshop that was introduced by Dr. Suroor Qarooni; a trainer, certified coach, and a consultant, titled “Fostering the Artistic Spirit in Children” held on 19 Jan 2021. The workshop discussed the different ways to foster the artistic spirit and the innovation to solve solutions. The first question was: "Does the world nowadays need more painters and artists?"

Wisdom and Love, Keys to Child Protection

Celebrating "Safer Internet Day" that takes place on February 9 every year, Be-Free program of Bahrain Women Association - for Human Development - launched a competition titled "Test your knowledge about cyberbullying", which was announced through Facebook and Instagram.

Be-Free program of Bahrain Women Association – for Human Development organized a workshop titled “how to improve parent-teen relationship?” presented by Dr. Soroor Qarooni, a trainer and certified coach,on 16 February 2021. More than 65 participants from different Arab countries have joined the workshop.

Autism a Journey Into an Eternal Beauty

Be-Free Program of Bahrain Women Association – for Human Development – conducted a live interview through Instagram with Mrs. Yasmeen Al Qallaf, mother of an autistic child, member of the National Autistic Society in Britain, Autism Activist, and Founder of Al Faisal Universal Center. The live interview titled "Autism a Journey Into an Eternal Beauty”, was conducted by Mrs. Dekrayat Sanad, Special Education Specialist and Certified trainer at Be-Free program.

“My opinion is respected, as well as others’” Children's interactive workshop

Be-Free Program of Bahrain Women Associations - for Human Development organized an interactive training workshop entitled "My Opinion is respected, as well as others’". The workshop was presented on Saturday, 9th October 2021 via Zoom by Mrs. Shafeeqa Alghasra, a member of the program and an experienced and accredited trainer.

Begins its first season with “Talent... a life project”
Be-Free Program of Bahrain Women Association – for Human Development launches “Be-Free Voice” Podcast on several audio platforms (Apple Podcast, Google Podcast, Spotify, Cast Box). A variety of topics will be covered in the podcast, such as protecting children, developing their personalities, and discovering their talents.

“Be Free” Released “Daughter, Son, Please Don’t Protect Me” Book

December 2021

Be-Free Program has released a book titled “Daughter, Son, Please Don’t Protect Me” written by Dr. Soroor Qarooni, the program specialist and consultant. The author deals with the roles that children and adolescents may adopt in families with chronic problems, and the negative impact on their personalities, families, and the world. The book also helps parents on how to deal with their children who may have adopted any of these roles.
