Be-Free honors the volunteers in the summer program

Be-Free honored students from College of Health Sciences in Bahrain participated voluntarily in the summer program for the year 2008 with different art works such as painting on canvas, creating different puppet characters and handicrafts.

Their work was used to facilitate the delivery of Basic life skills concepts to children during the workshops. The children enjoyed playing with the puppets and repeating the concepts they were trained on. Volunteering in social work increase human development in communities, and no matter how small volunteer work is, it contributes in building community and making the world a better place.

It is worth mentioning that Be-Free team conducting these workshops is a group of well-trained volunteers with special focus on delivering essential protection skills and basic life skills.

Celebrating the end of the summer program

Be-Free has celebrated the end of the summer program for the month of August 2008 with a special fun party. The program included several workshops that teaches children different skills such as emotional intelligence skills.

Some of these skills are: identifying the names of different feelings, the feelings that helps in protecting them, the feelings that motivates them, and the feelings that make them feel happy.

Ministry of Education honors Be-Free

Under the Patonage of Dr. Majed Al Noaimi, Minister of Education in the Kingdom of Bahrain, Be-Free was honored by Dr. Majeed Al Alawi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry, for the workshops conducted by Be-Free center to students of secondary and intermediate schools in the period between '2006 - 2008'.
